“Untouched” win the Best Monodrama award at Egypt Theatre Festival
‘Untouched’ directed by Sujeewa Pathinisekara, presented by Inter Act Art theatre won the Best Monodrama at Sham Al Sheik international theatre Festival held at Sham Al Sheikh city in Egypt.
Sham Al Sheik international theatre Festival held under four categories-Street Drama, Special Space Theatre, Ensemble Theatre and Mono drama and 21 countries participated in this Competitive festival selected from 302 application. “Untouched” represented the monodrama category and received Mohamed Sayyed Al Afkam Award, the only award presented in the said category. Sri Lankan representation “Untouched” won
this award.
‘Untouched’ monodrama is played by Subuddhi Lakmali while choreography and stage setting are by M. Safeer. Music by Sagara Wijesinghe and lighting done by Wasantha Kumara and Sujeewa Pathinisekara, stage management is done by Nirosh Kavirathna,
