A rare opportunity to those enjoyed the comic art books in the yesteryear newspapers like ‘Sathuta’, ‘Madura’, ‘Siththara’ and many more, a comic art book exhibition is now being held in Borella.
Comic Art Book Exhibition features veteran and popular artistes such as Bandula Harischandra, Janaka Rathnayake, Daya Rajapaksha, Sarathmadhu, Anton B.Perera, Anura Srinath, Thalangama Jayasinhe, Anura Wijewardenna, Bandula Kumara, Sumathipala Jothipala, Prageeth Abeydeera, T.D. Abeysooriya, Indrajith Dhanthanarayana, Sarath Kavirathna, Felix Perera, Gunapala Jayalath, Rathnasiri Munasinghe, Sineth Baddage, Janaka Illukkumbura, Aravinda and Jude Srimal.
The exhibition also have a wide range of other books including novels, short stories, autobiographies of prominent personalities, educational publications, drama scripts and will be held till December 17 at “Nirmala Prakashana” Premises at No. 7/35, Ground floor, Supermarket, Borella.
