The 50th Wedding Anniversary was celebrated by Lankika Perera and Chanaka Perera of the Golden Chimes on 1 December. A service of thanks giving was held at the Holy Emmanuel Church Moratuwa and thereafter a reception for close family members and friends. Singer Sureshni Wanigasuriya was one of their flower girls, who attended the ceremony.
