DE SILVA-ELMO IVAN. Former Deputy Director General of Sri Lanka Customs, dearly beloved husband of late Naomi De Silva (nee Senewirathna), loving father of Suleka and Sonali, much loved father-in-law of Dr. Parakrama Herath, and Dr. Suresh Jayasundara (Australia), loving grandfather of Aroshana, Archana and Praveena (Australia), loving brother of late Mervyn, late Sheila and of Esther and Vera (Bay), loving brother-in-law Clera, late Earlred and of Eshton and Condrad was called to rest on 10th December 2021. Remains lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour. Cortege leaves the parlour at 4.30 pm on Sunday 12th December. Cremation at the General Cemetery (Old Crematorium) Borella at 5.00 p.m.

 

Lila Savitri Brady (nee Wijayatilake), daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Wijayatilaka, wife of late Robert Brady, sister of Shakuntala, Gayatri, Arjuna, Narada, Padmawarna and Chandragupta expired in London, UK and was cremated on Nov. 18, 2021.

 

PUNCHIHETTI S.S. – Retired Assistant Commissioner of Labour/ Ex, Personnel Manager – Wijeya Newspapers (Pvt) Ltd, Retired Officer – Pioneer Corps, Sri Lanka Army.  Beloved husband of late Seetha Punchihetti (Sri Palee Vidyalaya, Horana, loving father of late Ruwan (Sri Lanka Air Force), Sujeevanie (Ex-Officer, Sri Lanka Air Force), Madhupani (SriLankan Air Lines) and Subhashinie (Visiting Lecturer – Sri Jayewardenepura University/ Buddhist & Pali University), loving father-in-law of Mahesh Chandrasekara and loving grandfather of Kaveesha passed away at the age of 92 years on 11.12.2021. Remains lie at residence No.01, Welikala, Pokunuwita, Horana, Cortege leaves residence after religious rites at 04.30 p.m. on 13.12.2021.

 

DE SILVA, ANURA (NKAD) - Dearest husband of Dayaminie, treasured father of Venya and Shayari, son of Manel and Ariyadasa, brother of Ruvani passed away peacefully after a period of illness. His body was donated to the Kelaniya University Medical Faculty according to his whishes. STM409025
