Trinity thrash Sumangala 46-14
Trinity College made a strong comeback in the later half to beat Sumangala College, Kandy by 46 points (8 tries, 3 conversions) to 14 points (2 converted tries) to win in a friendly Schools Under-19 rugby encounter played between the two schools at Pallekelle yesterday.
With a stunning and superlative performance, minnows Sumangala led the halftime by 14-10, the only half they scored and impressed against the Trinitians. Trinity added six more tries in the returning half and converted three of them to accumuliate 46 points.
