Armenia is located in the southern Caucasus and is the smallest of the former Soviet republics. It is bounded by Georgia on the north, Azerbaijan on the east, Iran on the south, and Turkey on the west.
Armenia is a country which is not a ‘hot topic’ of the news daily. Countries like UK, USA, China or Russia are highly discussed and very engaged with the world. However, the world is yet to be discovered by so many of us as we do not know what these countries do or even locate it on a map.
Older than the Roman Culture
One of the world’s oldest civilizations, Armenia once included Mount Ararat, which biblical tradition identifies as the mountain that Noah’s ark rested on after the flood. It was the first country in the world to officially embrace Christianity as its religion (c. A.D. 300).
Throughout most of its long history, however, Armenia has been invaded by a succession of empires. Under constant threat of domination by foreign forces, Armenians became both cosmopolitan as well as fierce protectors of their culture and tradition.
Free water
Armenia has water fountains every step of the way and the people of the country can drink out of them. The rest of the water is recycled and not a single drop is wasted. This country does not need plastic bottles to carry water as water is free and enjoyed by everyone.
In a world where so many dies without water, Armenia is flourishing with its water resources.

This country makes everyone learn chess. The Grandmaster of Chess is also an Armenian solely due to the fact that this country specialises in the game.
The country is made up of many different cultures, people from all over the world have come together to create one culture for Armenia. People from Russia, Syria, USA, UAE, Denmark, Belgium and Spain have settled in Armenia.
Music, Sports and Art for Free
This country also let’s every child in the country learn aesthetic studies for free. They have the opportunity to learn music, dance or even play sports after school for free. It is encouraged and supported as a Nation.
Maybe this has lead to Armenia being the country to have a great tech company like PicsArt. Every person in the country is quite versatile and has the ability to think differently due to these privileges.
The President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, is the best example of a skilled individual which represents the cross section of Armenia. He is able to engineer computer games by himself.
The land of free water which produces versatile and great engineers is one of those undiscovered countries worth the recognition.
