Annual Dhamma School Teachers exam to be held on June 18
View(s):The Government has decided to hold the annual Dhamma School Teachers Certificate Examination on June 18, a senior official of the Buddhasasana Ministry said recently.
The exam, which was due to be held during years 2020 and 2021, was cancelled due to the COVID -19 pandemic. Therefore the Buddhist Affairs Department will be allowing all Dhamma school teachers who applied for the exam last year, and the year before that, to participate in this year’s exam.
The teachers applying for the exam should be registered as a Dhamma school teacher for a period of at least six months by March 15. The teachers should also be above 18 years.
The Buddhist Affairs Department Commissioner General Sunanda Kariyapperuma said more information regarding the exam and application are available online at their website www.dba.gov.lk.
He said they also accept online applications.
