‘Monalisa’ now in cinema
Eranga Senaratne’s newest film ‘Monalisa’ a story revolving around a young woman, is now being screened in cinemas around the country.
Scripted and directed by Eranga, the film narrates around a girl who commits a serious mistake due to her uncontrollable anger and the long lasting regret that leads to a depression.
The depressive state of mind takes the girl to a point attempting a suicide.
‘Monalisa’ features Buddhika Jayaratne, Amila Karunaratne, Madhushani Wickremesinghe, Sulochana Weerasinghe, Susanga Kahandawala Arachchi, Kusum Perera, Rinsley Weeraratne and others.
Camera and lightening by Upul Priyan, art direction is by Nuwan Buddhika Liyanawadu and Chapa Perera, makeup and hair styles by Janadara Aluthgama, assistant director is Gayan Mahagalage, editor is AnushaSanjeewaJayawardena, production executive-Dilan Jagath, production management-Roland de Silva, and the musical score by N. M. J. Wasilavo. To the lyrics penned by Dinali Roshanthi Senaratne, the playback songs are sung by Sooriya Dayaruwan, N. M. J. Wasailavo and Bhashi Madhubhashini.
Monalisa is produced by Nishantha Galhena and Champika de Silva for Yau Entertainment.
