Garrett House emerge worthy champions

The annual Senior Inter-House Rugby Tournament 2022 of Trinity College took place at their Pallekelle Rugby Stadium, where Garrett House beat Simiththraaratchy House by 26-12 to claim the championship. Shaveen Premaratne led the victorious Garrett House while Lithmal Moragoda led the Simiththraaractchy House.
Among five Houses, Ooloff was placed overall third next to Garrett and Simiththraaratchy, while Central Boarding and Lemuel were placed at fourth and fifth at the end of the competition. Shamendra Dissanayake was picked as the Player of the Tournament for his prowess while the
Player of the Final award was shared by Harith Samaraweera and Kovida Wickramasinghe.– Upekh Gammudali was named the Upcoming Player of the Tournament.
