Schols. for management students offered by Mitsubishi Corporation
View(s):Mitsubishi Corporation is offering scholarships for management students in two state universities, the University Grants Commission (UGC) said.
Students who have registered at Colombo University’s Faculty of Management and Finance and Sri Jayewardenapura University’s Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce and have no other financial assistance can apply for the Mitsubishi Corporation International Scholarships.
The one-year scholarship will see selected recipients receiving an amount of Rs.59,500 for the next academic year.
The UGC said students will be selected based on their performance at the G.C.E. A/L exams, parental income, and other factors. Students who are already receiving Mahapola, Bursary, and other scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship. The deadline for application is March 31 this year.
