NDB wins big at the National Business Excellence Awards
View(s):National Development Bank PLC was felicitated with the Overall Winner – Silver Award as well as the Gold award in the Banking Sector at the National Business Excellence Awards 2021, hosted by the National Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka (NCCSL) at the BMICH Colombo recently.
NDB’s CEO Dimantha Seneviratne accepted the awards in the presence of a large gathering of top business leaders, business organisations from across the country, and diplomatic missions, the bank said in a media release.
In addition to winning these awards, NDB Bank also emerged as the winner in four other categories – Excellence in Capacity Building, Excellence in Performance Management, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility and Excellence in Environmental Sustainability. NDB also emerged as the First Runner Up in the Extra Large Category, Runner Up – Excellence in Local Market Reach and Runner Up – Excellence in Corporate Governance.
