At UCL students have the opportunity to undertake the first two years of the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Applied Computer Science Degree programmes offered directly by Dalhousie University Canada. Upon successful completion, students gain entry into the 3rd year of the respective degree program at Dalhousie University, Canada with a considerable cost saving of more than Rs. 10 Millionby pursuing the 2+2 Degree programme.
University of Central Lancashire Programmes at UCL
Students after A/L’s (Local or Edexcel / Cambridge) can directly pursue a British Honours Degree in Business or Software Engineering as an internal student of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)UK (UGC recognized) with one year Industry placement (Internship) at Blue-chip companies and multi-nationals and software companies in Sri Lanka leading to guaranteed job opportunities.
Students can transfer to the UK university either in their second year or the final year and obtain the post study work VISA for another two years; and can complete the Degree in country and fly out to the UK to obtain a Masters Degree with one year paid internship and post study work VISA for another two years.
