The workers say they have resorted to rummaging through the waste, and collecting more recyclable materials to find extra means of income.
They rummage through plastic, metal waste, discarded items in search of items that they could sell for recycling to earn an additional income.
They point out that their job collecting garbage is not enough to sustain their families with the increasing cost of living.
Water bottles, plastic pens, metal, and shattered pieces of glass were among the items which were treasured and separately collected by the garbage collectors.
The collectors say that it would be convenient for them if people separated recyclable items.
