Anula to meet Ratnavali in Girls’ final
Anula Balika Vidyalaya Nugegoda and Ratnavali Balika Vidayalaya Gampaha qualified to the final of the Girls Under-19 Inter-School Cricket Tournament when they came out victorious in their respective semi-final encounters played at Maggona and Campbell Place.
The champion and runner up of last year’s tournament Devapathiraja MV Rathgana and Wadduwa Central were their victims. Anula BV recorded a close 8-run win over Devapathiraja MV while Ratnavali BV coasted to a comfortable 58-run win over Wadduwa Central.
Anula BV and Ratnavali BV will battle out for supremacy in the final scheduled to be played tomorrow (Monday) at the Bloomfield ground.
