Trinity dominate drawn game at Campbell Park
Trinity dominated proceedings against Wesley in the drawn Under-19 cricket encounter concluded at Campbell Park yesterday. Resuming from their overnight score of 325 for 6, Trinity made 367 all out before bowling hosts out for 187 in their first essay. At close Trinity ended the day on 111 for 3.
The match between Royal and Prince of Wales played at Reid Avenue too ended in a tame draw. Cambrians, in reply to Royal’s score of 198, were bowled out for 135. Royal, batting the second time, declared at 154 for 2 leaving the Cambrians a target of 218 runs for victory. They scored only 128 for 2 at close of play.
