Flowers for Vesak Day at Temple of the Tooth Relic
View(s):Vidyartha College Old Scouts Association distributed flowers on VesakDay at the Sri Dalada Maligawa premises for the 29th consecutive year.
The first tray of flowers was offered by the school’s principal Major M.R.D.Mayadunne.
The free flower distribution for those who proceeded to worship the sacred tooth relic continued till late evening on that day. The religious event was headed by Wimal Bandara, the president of the Old Scouts Association of Vidyartha College.
