MIBM signed Agreement with University of Pacific
View(s):The University of Pacific, Nicaragua (UNIP), Central America has collaborated with the Metropolitan Institute of Business Management (MIBM) as their exclusive affiliated campus in Sri Lanka to conduct Degree programmes.
Recently an agreement regarding this collaboration was signed by Rector of UNIP Dr David C. H. Liang and CEO of MIBM Mr. Selvaratnam Nimal.

Dr David C H Liang, the Rector of UNIP said this collaboration would enable Metropolitan Institute of Business Management to conduct Degree, Masters and Doctorate programmes in Sri Lanka on behalf of UNIP. He further stated that they had decided to collaborate with MIBM after several rounds of official reviews by the board of Directors. They had identified that MIBM was providing quality education since 2015 in various disciplines such as Management, Photography and Languages.
Mr. Selvaratnam Nimal, the CEO of MIBM said, this would be a significant achievement for MIBM to collaborate with a recognised University. UNIP is a member of International Association of Universities and their degrees are recognised by University Grant Commission (UGC), Sri Lanka. He further stated that their students would now have the opportunity of getting a recognised degree at an affordable cost, when they start the MBA programme from June 2022 onwards.

MIBM is conducting around 15 courses including Foundation certificate in Business Management, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Leadership & Management, Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management, Diploma in Accounting and Finance Management, Diploma in HR Management, Diploma in ICT, Certificate in Basic Photography, Advanced Certificate in Photography, Diploma in Photography…..etc. It is also one of the leading institutes for Chinese language courses.
In addition MIBM is coaching students for IELTS, HSK and YCT examinations. Apart from the courses MIBM is conducting indoor and outdoor corporate training programmes to improve productivity and teamwork.
