A shocking batting collapse which included five run outs helped Pakistan Women win the third and final T20 by 4 wickets to wrap up the series 3-0 against Sri Lanka Women in Karachi yesterday. Sri Lanka openers–Chamari Athapaththu and Hasini Perera put on a slow but steady 69 runs for the first wicket before dreadful collapse saw them managing just 107 off the 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
Pakistan chasing the total did not have it easy as Sri Lanka bowled at tight line and lengths but host still managed to pull it off by some sensible batting. Their win came off the last ball of the match. Oshadi Ransinghe was the pick among bowlers with 3 for 18 while Kavisha Dilhari too picked up 2 for 28.
