Preparation for ongoing success
For students transitioning from high school to university, UTS Foundation Studies is an ideal way to prepare for ongoing success. Students build their skills in areas such as Mathematics, Society and Culture, and many key academic skills. The learning environment is supportive and encouraging, helping them adapt to the UTS style of learning and teaching. While they’re becoming confident, independent learners, students also explore relevant contemporary subjects such as International Perspectives, Science, Technology and Society, and Introduction to Creative Thinking. The course is designed in collaboration with UTS to open a broad selection of future study options, giving students from Sri Lanka the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to travel to Australia to complete their degrees.
Having successfully completed UTS Foundation Studies, students are eligible to enter UTS undergraduate programmes in a wide range of areas such as Analytics and Data Science, Business, Communication, Design Architecture and Building, Education, Engineering, Health, Information Technology, International Studies, Law, Nursing, Science and Mathematics,Transdisciplinary Innovation and more.
Advantages for students registering before 31 June
Enrolments are now open and there are advantages for students who register before 31 June. Early-birds are entitled to a guaranteed 15 percent scholarship and 50% registration fee waiver. UTS College Sri Lanka also offers academic merit scholarships for high achievers in A-level and O-level exams, up to 100 percent. These scholarships are limited, with successful candidates selected through an interview process.
