As the Government grapples with the problems the people undergo due to the country’s worst-ever fuel crisis, this picture brings out one of the many heart-rending stories around the country. A young mother who was taking turns with her husband, an Army doctor, in a Colombo fuel queue for three days had to bring her baby also in a pram, is seen feeding the child while waiting for fuel.
