"Safe in the Arms of Jesus" - With great sadness we announce the passing of Wilfred Fernando (1929- 2022) Retired Engineer of Ceylon Development Engineers. Dearly beloved son of Peter and Jane Fernando. Loving husband of late Rita Fernando. Loving father of Shiromani (UK) Sherwyn (Australia), Sureshni (Australia) Sharmaline and Shyantha. Father-in-law of Luxman (UK), Jacqueline (Australia), Kshanaka (Australia) and Lenny. Much Loved grand-father of Jason, Shane, Terrina, Aidan, Dylan, Ryan, Shaenali, Joshua and Daniel. Loving brother of late Muriel, Humphrey, Josephine (UK), Rita (Canada) Angelo and Chandra (Australia). Remains lie at Mahinda funeral parlour Mount Lavinia from Wednesday 27th July 10.30am to 6.30 p.m. Cortege leaves parlour at 2.30pm on the 28th to St. Anthony's Church Mount Lavinia for service at 3 p.m, followed by the burial at the General Cemetery, Mount Lavinia.

PERERA – MANGALA (nee Nanayakkara) – cherished wife of Rajah, much-loved mother of Ruwani, Shalinee and Hiran, and doting sister of Dr Siri (deceased) passed away peacefully at her care home in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday 18 July 2022, succumbing to advanced dementia. Mum will finally join her loved ones in her next life, which we hope and pray is a little kinder to her than this last. STM 240490

RAJIAH – WILSON (entered rest 16th July 2022) in Toronto, Canada. Beloved husband of Ranee, loving father of Tania and Cally and of Christopher and Sallie, devoted grandfather of Richard and Meera, Natasha, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel, Jack, Charlie, Finn, Maximus, and Penelope. He passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of Jesuran and Alice Rajiah of Pussellawa and one of nine loving siblings. Loved and missed by all.
