The Wesley College Under-14 rugby team performed considerably well at the concluded Inter-School Rugby League Tournament, which was conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association.

The young Wesleyites played seven games, and won six while losing just one, against Isipathana College. They comprehensively beat Vidyartha, Science, St. Peter’s, Dharmaraja, St. Joseph’s and Royal colleges, indicating of a potential winning outfit by the time the team reaches the top level. The Wesley Under-14 rugby team is coached by Randima Fernando and Lasith Randeera.
