Old friends met at the common podium of the University of Peradeniya 83rd General Convocation, and Emeritus Professor C.M. Madduma Bandara was conferred an Honourary Degree by Chancellor G.H. Peiris.
Prof. G.H. Peiris was an alumnus of the university and served for 44 years in this institution before he retired.
