Hansani Dance Academy presents the annul concert, “ 2022” bigger and better this year having a fantastic line-up showcasing a variety of dancing genres.
‘Narthana 22’ is a presentation of ‘Hansani Dancing Academy’ led by veteran dancer Hansani Manamendara. Started in 2013 ‘Hansani Dancing Academy’ crated to help students to pursue their passion in dancing and to groom each student as professional cultural dancer.
‘Our Academy trained students to perform traditional, creative and modern dancing based on Kandyan, Indian dance and contemporary dancing styles for the last 9 years. Hansani Dancing Academy was able to provide the students, the platform to learn all creative aspects of dancing including choreography, staging, costuming, and performing’ explained Hansani Manamendara.
The academy follows the Sri Lankan national school curriculum and open to students from the age of five years.
‘Narthana 22’ brings its audience 16 dance acts from different genres; going beyond traditional Kandyan dancing with the inclusion of the modern and contemporary touch for everyone to enjoy.
