Trinity Under-16s unbeaten in Schools Rugby season

The Trinity College Under-16 rugby team ended the season with an unbeaten record during 2022 after playing seven matches. They beat S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia (17-0), St. Joseph’s College (12-5), Kingswood College (14-5), Vidyartha College (17-5), Dharmaraja College (12-5), Sri Sumangala College, Kandy (31-0) and Royal College (19-6) to complete an impressive season.
The Trinity Under-16s accumulated 122 points in seven games conceding only 26 points to their opponents. The side was led by Murad Raizan under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Priyantha Gunaratne and Master-in-Charge Subash Wijewardane.
