AIESEC is the world’s largest global youth-run organisation and is always aiming to develop leadership potential in youth.AIESEC in university of Ruhuna is one of the most prominent official expansion operating under AIESEC Sri Lanka.
ODYSSEY 2.0 the leadership development seminar will be the one and only biggest conference organised by AIESEC in university of Ruhuna in 2022 where 150+ young individuals from diverse sets of fields meet at one place to have an amasing leadership experience. This time LDS 2.0 will be a unique experience unlike LDS 1.0 as it is going to happen physically for the first time and It will be the first ever physical Leadership Development Seminar in the history of AIESEC in Ruhuna.
This leadership development seminar is aiming to provide a high-quality leadership development experience to the membership to help them to develop the skills required for becoming solution-oriented, resilient, and innovative young leaders. Basically, this seminar will comprise areas concerned with choosing the precise leadership opportunities to build a successful leader in order to face the diverse society, balancing the career with one’s passion and insight about developing the leadership potential through AIESEC and has the aspect of nurturing future leaders and increasing the member engagement within AIESEC in University of Ruhuna.
The conference will be held on 24th & 25th of september at Lavanga resort, Hikkaduwa. After a series of activities before the conference, there will be a series of fun, interactive activities,games and discussions where delegates can actively participate throughout the event. The main objective of these activities is to enhance the team spirit and get all members to the direction of entity goals and build a potential set of members in AIESEC in University of Ruhuna with a clear mindset.
ODYSSEY 2.0 will be the best conference to develop soft skills of the membership to adapt to the new normal by being resilient. The former organising committee and the Executive Board of AIESEC in Ruhuna is giving their fullest contribution to the success of this event. ODYSSEY 2.0 will be a remarkable,successful and tremendous event organised to uplift the youth development in AIESEC in Ruhuna.
