I, P.D.V.Charika Wickramaratne am currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education, University of Kelaniya.
I consider it an honor to have done my PhD in this university. There are numerous reasons for my preference out of which I would like to talk about a few. One out of the many is that at the Management and Science university they enroll candidates as a batch instead of as one individual. It allowed me to work with a lot of people belonging to different fields which was advantageous in many aspects.
Secondly, another most significant feature of the university is that we gained knowledge not only from our supervisors but from other knowledgeable and intellectual doctors as well. Thirdly, one striking quality of the university is the friendliness of the academic and administrative staff.

It is with great pleasure that I write this message as a successful PhD holder at the Management and Science University of Malaysia (MSU). I selected one of the contemporary issues, the Determinants of Employee Frauds in Public Sector Entities in Sri Lanka. In this complex, uncertain and digitized environment, Public sector entities are exposed to greater level of fraud risk and therefore should more focus on fraud risk and how to manage fraud risk by inculcating ethical culture to improve the integrity among the employees to reduce employee frauds. The findings derived from this study could provide insights to the management of the public sector entities, regulators, and policy makers on the ways of how to manage fraud risk and reduce fraud in public sector entities in Sri Lanka
