Pathway Diploma course to be a Globally recognised Early Childhood Teacher
View(s):Poly Campus is offering The NVQ Level 5 National Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education – accredited and awarded by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka (TVEC) and validated byNational Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) for those who wish to acquire an Early Childhood Teacher qualification. Polytechnic and Edlocate, two well-established and highly experienced organisations are coming together in partnershipas Poly Campus to bring you this programme.
The course will be delivered byThe Polytechnic -renown for being the first private tertiary and vocational institute in Sri Lanka, established in 1901, with over 100 yearsin programme delivery excellence. The course will be conducted by anexpert panel of lecturers and tutors, and will be a full-time programmeconsisting of 12 months of lectures and a further 6 months of supervised teaching placements in leading Early Learning Centres in and around Colombo. Those successful will be awarded the TVEC National Diploma at NVQ Level 5.

a. A course in teaching children with learning disabilities with participants awarded the Poly Campus Certificate (registered with TVEC)
b. 20 hours of guidance and coaching to sit IELTS Academic module to enable students to enroll in overseas universities.
c. Fulfillment of true diploma accreditation at NVQ level 5, enabling students to enroll in a Bachelor Degree course offered by overseas universities.
d. Eligibility to seek credits for modules indegree programmes based on Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) enabling the degree to be completed in a shorter time period with a major cost saving.
Early Childhood Teachers are identified as a top required role in all developed countries.
