David Guetta and Bebe Rexha have topped the UK singles chart with the summer dance hit ‘I’m Good (Blue)’. The song climbed from 2 to the pole position this week thanks to 5.4 million streams. The song samples the 1999 EDM hit ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’ by the Italian dance act Eiffel 65, which also topped the UK singles chart back then.
French producer and DJ Guetta is joined on vocals by the US singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha. ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ opens with an infectious piano hook which was on Eiffel 65’s original rendition. The lyrics to the song by the original artists Jeffrey Jay, Mamitzio Lobina and Messimo Gabutti as well as the additional lyrics on the current version by Bebe Rexha and Camille Purcell. ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ began its chart journey four weeks ago at No: 7. The song is Guetta’s seventh No: 1 and first No: 1 for Rexha in the UK.
Post Malone forced to pull out of concert performance in Boston
Post Malone was forced to pull out his concert performance in Boston, Massachusetts in the US on Sept 24 following breathing difficulties. The artist of multi genres required hospitalisation.
He issued an apology to his fans promising to return to the city. The 27 year old Malone had earlier injured his ribs as he crashed through a hole on the stage while performing in St. Louis in Mississippi.

Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Forget Me’ is at the No: 2 spot after spending a solitary week at the top of the UK singles chart. The Scottish singer scored his third chart topping song following his debut ‘Someone To Love’ in 2019 and ‘Before You Go’ in 2020. The mid tempo track is the lead single from his upcoming hitherto untitled album.

Taylor Swift is to release her new album ‘Midnights’ on 21st October. The collection of 13 tracks is based on sleepless nights she encountered during which time song lyrics were noted. Swift has taken to the social media platform Tik Tok to announce the title of each song on the new album since 20th September.
