Karateka Ahmed Ilmy of Al Awwal, Rajagiriya to represent Sri Lanka

Ahamed Ilmy, a student of Al Awwal School, Rajagiriya, competed in the All-Island Open Kumite/ Cadet/Junior Karate Championship 2022 held on September 25 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. After his impressive performance which led Ilmy to record a win, he was selected to the Sri Lanka junior karate team under the chief instructor of Sri Lanka for Karate H.M.D.R. Kalyana.
