Third term of schools for 2022 academic year in three stages
View(s):Due to the prolonged effects of schools having been closed for the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis, school teachers and principals have decided to organise education and non-education activities for the third term of the 2022 academic year in three stages.
The current school term which began on September 13 will continue up to December 1, with December 2 as a holiday, followed by a weekend.
The first stage of the third term will begin on December 5 and end on December 22.
Christmas holidays will be from December 23 to January 1, and the second stage will begin on January 2 and end on January 20.
Schools will then be closed to facilitate the A/L exams from January 21 to February 19. The third stage is scheduled to begin on February 20 and end on March 24.
On the other hand, in Muslim schools the second stage will end on February 15, and the third stage will begin on March 1 and end on March 21.
