Sri Lankan stocks edged up on Wednesday, amidst investor interest in blue chip shares , analysts said.
All Share Price Index was up 37.24 points to 4,844.79, while the Milanka Price Index gained 34.65 points to close at 4,303.89, according to Colombo Stock Exchange provisional figures.
Turnover was Rs. 284.82 million rupees, with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, dominated trading, and its share price was up by 20 cents to Rs. 100.50 with 870,490 shares changing hands , a stock broker said.

.John Keells Holdings was up Rs. 1.40 rupees to 183.90 rupees on trades of 158,163 shares.
Foreign buying of Rs. 29.24 million rupees over sales of Rs. 87.79 recorded to day, stock broker said. (Bandula)
