Trinity emerged champions of the Under-20 Schools League Division I A rugby tournament when they recorded a smashing 76-5 win against the hapless D.S. Senanayake outfit at Pallekele today (23).
Trinity dominated the all-important encounter from the first whistle and raced to gain an unassailing lead of 51-5 at half time.
They went on to add 25 more points during the second half while preventing scoring access on their opponents.
Trinity scored from 14 tries and three conversions against a solitary unconverted try posted by D.S. Senanayake who will walk back to the lower group.
