General Secretary of the SLFP, Minister Mithripala Sirisena today said that the government is confident that Rauf Hakeem, leader of the Muslim Congress would continue to work alongside the government despite his party decision to contest under his party.
Treasurer of SLFP and Minister Dullas Alahapperuma, who was also present at the event stressed that they believed in contesting as one party and not divided by race or religion.
Minister Alahapperuma added that the SLFP was confident of winning all three provincial elections by large margins.
