Lawyers will boycott court proceedings throughout the island today in protest against the attack on the Mannar Magistrate's Court as well as the threats directed against the Magistrate by a Government Minister, the Bar Association of Sri Lanka said.
The Judges Association yesterday requested the Inspector General of Police to arrest a Minister and his supporters for threatening the Mannar Judge and attacking the Court causing damages.
