Changes have been made to the post of Officers in Charge (OIC) s of police stations in four areas with immediate effect due to service requirements, Police Headquarters announced today.
The OIC Mullaitivu W.B.Diayakirinawala has been transferred to Maharagama; Kuliyapitiya OIC P.N.Pushpakumara has been transferred to Gandara, Ampara OIC S.R.D.Fernando transferred to Hambegamuwa while IP R.M.Heenbanda who was serving at the Off Shore Police has been appointed it’s OIC.
No new appointees have been named to fill the vacancies created by the transfers
