Jubilee souvenir

The Department of Immigration and Emigration is currently compiling a Golden Jublillee Souvenir. The Editorial Board of the Souvenir Committee invites the public to send in whatever information (paper cuttings, photographs, publications etc.) they have of the Department for consideration. 

The souvenir which will depict the history of the Department since its inception is due to be released in the first half of year 2000. Those interested should contact S. Singappuli of the Editorial Board (Phone 503629, 503631) or post any information to 23, Station Road, Colombo 04. 

Royal College Directory

Secretary of the Royal College Union, N.Dias Jayasinha says this is yet another step towards developing solidarity amongst Royalists which in turn will help to bolster the Royal cause. The Royal Millennium Directory will only be a limited edition and will be a collectors item. Apart from the personal details of all Royalists past and present, this richly crafted publication will also include topical messages and articles of interest. Limited advertising opportunities will also be provided. Old Royalists who are not members of the union and who would like to be in the Millennium Directory are requested to get in touch with the Secretary/RCU at the Union Office, Rajakeeya Mawatha, Colombo 7.
