A touch of Janet
Mumbai had a touch of Janet when the beauty care and Ayurvedic range made by Janet Balasuriya was launched in India recently. The "Janet Beauty and SPA Show" was presented as the annual gala event of the Indian Association of Hair Dressing and Cosmetology with catwalk displays, demonstrations and lectures.

Over 800 beauty professionals watched as leading Indian models took the ramp to display hair, make-up and fashions demonstrating the new look for the season. The show was presented by a team of hairdressers and beauticians from Janet's, led by Janet herself. Janet's make-up artistes demonstrated the latest shades in their eye and face make-up range while exotic long hairstyles were created on stage.

Said Janet,"We are offering safe, sophisticated Ayurveda alternatives, giving Ayurveda a new image in keeping with the times."

After the grand launch of Janet products in Mumbai, she plans to expand distribution to Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai and Bangalore in the next few months.
