St. Peter's registered a first innings win over Isipathana in the Under-19 Inter-School cricket encounter concluded at the BRC grounds yesterday. Isipathana resuming on their overnight score of 68 for 2 finished their innings on 228 in reply to the Peterites’ score of 345 for 8 declared with Anushka Bandara making 69. Made to follow on they were 120 for 7 when stumps were drawn.

Prince of Wales continuing from their overnight score of 91 for 2 went on to score 190 and St. Joseph's batting the second time declared their innings on 149 for 4 with Tharindu Ariyawansa hitting 75.
