'Moonlight
Becomes You'
At the center of this suspenseful tale of brilliantly sustained
terror is young commercial fashion photographer, Maggie Holloway
(Donna Mills), who travels to Newport to visit her stepmother, Nuala
Moore (Frances Hyland). When Maggie arrives, she finds the house
ransacked and Nuala dead. Nuala had planned to sell her house and
move into Latham Manor, a magnificent Newport mansion, now a residence
for wealthy retirees.
At the last
moment, however, Nuala changed her will, leaving the charming Victorian
house and all her possessions to Maggie. When Nuala is labeled the
victim of a random break-in, Maggie decides to stay there in order
to investigate the real reason for her stepmother's death.
Determined
to honor Nuala's request, Maggie visits Nuala's friend, Greta (Helen
Hughes), at Latham Manor as often as possible. Through her visits,
Maggie gets to know the residents - several of them remarkably youthful
and full of life.
