Malaysia Airlines adds 3rd flight to Colombo
Malaysia Airlines is adding
a third, weekly flight between Colombo and Kuala Lumpur, starting from July 8.
This will offer greater accessibility
between Sri Lanka and Malaysia with a total of eight direct (weekly) flights to
Kuala Lumpur, including the five existing joints services with SriLankan Airlines,
a statement from the airline said.
With these joint services,
passengers have access to the wide network of Malaysia Airlines, a spokesman from
Hemas Air services, the General Sales Agent for Malaysia Airlines in Sri Lanka,
said.
This upgrade in service comes
at a time when Malaysia Airlines has been named as the World's Best Cabin Staff
for 2003, in a global survey conducted by Skytrax , the third consecutive year
that passengers have voted Malaysia Airlines cabin staff as the world's best.
When the additional flight
is introduced, Malaysia Airlines will have flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
