ACCA's new diploma in financial management

The Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) has launched a new diploma in financial management which covers a range of key financial aspects including: how to interpret financial statements; plan, manage and measure performance using budgets and other financial techniques; make financial decisions; and manage all kinds of financial risk.

ACCA's Sri Lanka branch said this course is mainly aimed at middle and senior management with financial responsibilities. Successful candidates may use the designatory letters DipFM.

It said more than 10,000 managers world-wide have completed this diploma while many have taken advantage of the qualification for post-graduate status to gain advanced standing towards MBAs and other masters qualifications.
