Emirates' double promotion sees online sales soar

Emirates Airline's has experienced a boom in its online sales of flight tickets since May.

The airline is offering passengers a 'double delight' for bookings made through its website. One offer entitles passengers to double Skywards Miles until 31st December 2003 and the other offer grants a 10 percent discount on accommodation on Dubai Summer Surprises holiday packages, valid from June 15 to August 15.

The online booking feature is available in 22 countries across Europe, the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent, Far-East and Australia. The website is comprehensive, providing passengers flight information, fares for all ages (adult, child, infant) on the selected routes, and the ability to make multiple bookings on a one way, return or a multiple sector journey.

Bookings can be made for flights departing between 8 hours to 10 months, making it highly flexible.

Growing at a phenomenal rate, the website currently receives over 125,000 hits per day while the Internet Booking Engine (IBE) picks up more than 38,000 unique page impressions per day.
