Nayana’s show in Chennai

Salon Nayana flew to Chennai on June 28 to present 'Bride- Your Finest Moment' at the La Royal Meridian, Chennai to a select audience of 500.

Thirty five models sashayed down the ramp in wedding finery presenting Hindu, Christian, North Indian, Western and fantasy brides.

Purnima Abeyratne of Inspirations fame, one of Colombo's leading dress designers presented the western bridals while the eastern saris were presented by Sundari Silks of Chennai. The North Indian outfits were presented by Kjewell designs of Delhi. Sri Uttarikar jewellers of Chennai provided the jewellery for the models.

The bridal bouquets for the event were created by Janaki of Flowers of Summer, Mr. Barnes of Mount Lavinia, Lucian de Silva and the creative artiste of Salon Nayana.

Well-known choreographer Geraldine Bandaranaike put the show together. Hair and make up were done by Nayana Karunaratne and the team from Salon Nayana including Sylvana and Rozanne.The show received media coverage through Sun TV, Jaya TV, S.S. Music TV and many leading newspapers in India.
