'Vrushabha Raja' at Elphinstone
'Vrushabha Raja', the latest creation of actor Wijeya Nandasiri will be staged at the Elphinstone Theatre on July 6 at 3.30 and 6.30 p.m.

Wijaya Nandasiri, Devika Mihirani, Gihan Fernando, Kumara Thirimedura, Asela Jayakody, Nawanjana Mihirani, Rasanjana Suchithra Nandasiri, Jayantha Ratnayake star in this popular stage drama.

'Vrushaba Raja' will be staged in Ampara on July 19, in Bibile on July 20 and in Negombo on July 27.

French Food Festival at Galadari
The Galadari Hotel will host The French Food Festival will come alive at the California Grill Rooftop Restaurant from July 10 to 15 in association with the Franco-Sri Lanka Business Council.

The Food Festival is organized to coincide with the French National Day which falls on the 14th of July. Two master Chefs from France, who will be brought down by Qatar Airways. All ingredients for the Food Festival, the Cheeses and Wines will too be brought down for the Food Festival from the gastronomical capital of France "Lyon"

The Chief Guest who will grace the opening ceremony will be Marie France Paginier, the French Ambassador in Sri Lanka.

Crab Fest at Colombo Plaza
A Crab Festival is now on at the Colombo Plaza till July 12 from 7-11 p.m.

The best of lagoon and sea crabs will be served up steamed, char grilled, poached, baked, wok fried, Tandoori style or as requested by the customer, complemented by pasta, rice, noodles, potatoes, vegetables, crab crackers, a salad bar and more.

Diners will feast under the stars at the poolside Taprobane Garden, to the lilting music of the Calypso band. And for some real fun, the guests will be able to grab an apron and join the chefs in the cooking.
