The dancing Chef
A cocktail party was hosted at the California Grill Rooftop Restaurant by Chandra Mohotti, General Manager of the Galadari Hotel to welcome the foreign judges, who were in Sri Lanka to participate for the “Culinary Art 2003” exhibition which was held at BMICH recently.

Visitors were in for a mega surprise when Chef Anushan Perera, senior Chef De Partie of the California Grill Roof Top Restaurant of Galadari Hotel Colombo took to the dance floor with his Latin American dancing partner “Michiko”.

Chef Anushan is the Sri Lankan Latin American dancing champion for the past 10 years, it was inspiring to see this man of dual talent keep his own peers entertained recently at the Cocktail.

‘Kebab Feast’ at Colombo Plaza
The magic of ‘Indian Cuisine’ comes to the Colombo Plaza every Friday night beginning from first week of July. Kebab and Roti Feast in the garden of the Indian Restaurant will offer up a gorgeous spread under starlit night skies.

A wide variety of Kebabs and Tandoooris - Kofta Kebabs, Lamb kebabs, Mewa kebabs, Shashimi kebabs and more - all prepared in ovens and grills out in the garden, allowing the guests to watch the chefs work their magic.

The Kebabs will be complimented by a variety of rotis, salads and rices. The perfect dinner in the perfect atmosphere.
