This week we step into the fifth segment of the “Take Another Look at Negombo” competition organised by TV Times in collaboration with Jetwing.
This week’s feature is Seashells Hotel , another popular resort in Negombo.

The entire hotel building faces the sea and as a result it is cool and breezy and it has a family atmosphere to it. Only 15 out of the 72 rooms consist of A/C whilst the others are kept pleasantly cool by wide terraces on the ground floor and spacious balcony on the upper floor.

The restaurant is also designed to make most of the sea view and it is also open and airy. Adjoining this, is the main bar with table tennis, darts and TV. There is also a popular pool bar in the hotel.

The quality of food at any hotel is important and at Seashells they won’t be disappointed as all three meals are buffet. There is a wonderful spread of Sri Lankan and Western cuisine to keep the guests tantalized and wanting more. If this does not suit your palette you could, may be order from the a la carte menu.

There are also string of activities lined up at the hotel. Here, there is an special event organized each day, which includes some unusual activities such as archery and boules. In the evening too, there is a fair amount of entertainment every night which includes cultural shows and live bands.
