Wanna do Salsa with Latino Dancers?
A sizzling five member professional Latino dance team known as the “Coronatino Wave” from Mexico will be visiting Sri Lanka from August 3 to August 10 for a series of performances


The group will perform at a number of venues where, Corona Extra Mexican beer is enjoyed. Corona Extra Mexican beer is the official sponsor of this tour.
Coronatino comprises three women and two men that specialize in performing to Latin music such as Salsa and other popular body movements and getting the audience on their feet.

After the performances they are known to join the crowd and help them get into the Latin mood by enjoying the Mexican food and drinks the Mexican way. Sri Lanka is the second stop in the “Coronatino Wave Global Tour 2003” out of their ten destinations in the Asia-Pacific Region and a company spokesman noted that this is the first time that Sri Lanka has been included in the Coronatino itinerary.

The “Coronatino Wave” will be in action at the UBR of the JAIC Hilton from August 4 to 8. starting at 8.00pm. They also perform alive at the Blue Elephant on August 6 and 8 at1.00am. They will be having a special performce on August 9 at Blue Oceanic Beach Hotel in Negombo, A Jetwing Hotel, from 10.00 p.m onwards for a duration of an hour.

The Blue Oceanic Beach Hotel will dish out a special dinner for the night that will include some of the popular Mexican dishes and drinks. This tour is sponsored by Grupo Modelo (the brewers of Corona beer in Mexico) and Favourite International, the local importer and distributor of Corona Extra.

Favourite also imports fine Spanish wines from Codorniu group and better spirits and liquors including Bacardi Rum, Camino Real Tequila and Blavod ( Black Vodka).
