One year after The Sunday Times Financial Times
Bombshell at JKH … that was one of the headlined stories that ran in the first issue of The Sunday Times FT on Sunday on September 1, 2002.

A year has gone by since then. The paper's business and finance sections have endeavoured to provide wide coverage on a range of stories relating to developments in the business community and the stockmarket and analysis on corporate sector trends through its own reporters and columnists drawn from a wide range of expertise.

Apart from this the paper has also spearheaded extensive reportage and investigation of the internal crisis at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) which finally led to the chairman of the commission stepping down.

The crisis, as far as we are concerned, still continues particularly over issues of accountability and following up on the Attorney General's advice. The Pramuka Bank collapse is another issue that the paper has provided extensive coverage on while balancing the interests of depositors and regulators.

We will continue to highlight issues of concern now with the FT being expanded to 16 pages per issue. We look forward to comments, ideas and suggestions on improving/expanding our coverage.
