Pramuka depositor kills himself
Another Pramuka Bank depositor is believed to have committed suicide - the third to do so - depressed over losing his money, said Palitha Gamage, President, Pramuka Stakeholders' Association.

He is the third Pramuka bank depositor to commit suicide in desperation over last year's collapse of the debt-ridden bank. Gamage said the wife of the victim informed the association about the tragedy at a stakeholders' meeting last week.

Gamage said several small investors were getting restive over delays by the Central Bank to find ways of restructuring the bank. Officials from the Central Bank have repeatedly denied charges that they were delaying the process. (QP)
